Full home renovations in Vilanova i la Geltrú
Your apartment or house, rebuilt top to bottom by one crew: layout, plumbing and wiring, kitchen, bathrooms and finishes. With a fixed itemised price and a delivery date that gets signed, not promised.
Twenty years of opening walls on this coast
Renovating in Spain has a reputation problem: quotes that grow, deadlines that slide, builders who vanish in August. Our answer to all three is the same piece of paper — a fixed, itemised price with a signed delivery date.
We have renovated homes in Vilanova i la Geltrú for over twenty years, and the building stock here has few secrets left for us. The old-town apartments hide high ceilings and solid bones behind layouts carved up half a century ago. The 1960s–70s blocks came with tiny closed kitchens and a single bathroom — the classic project there is an open-plan living-kitchen and a second bathroom. And along Ribes Roges and the coast, summer homes are being turned into year-round residences, which means proper heating, proper glazing and a floor plan that works in January, not just July.
The order of work never changes: first what you cannot see —new plumbing, wiring and climate systems— then the layout, and only then the finishes you touch every day. A beautiful floor over a 1970s pipe is not a renovation; it is a delay.
If you own a property here and live part of the year elsewhere, this matters: one project manager answers your calls, in English, from the first visit to the handover, and you can follow the whole job remotely with photos and weekly updates.
Thinking about a full renovation? The first visit is free, in English, and commits you to nothing.
What it costs and how long it takes
Straight numbers: a full renovation in the Vilanova area runs between €620 and €1,100 per m² before VAT, depending on scope and finishes, over 9 to 14 weeks of work. An 80 m² apartment at mid-range quality lands around €60,000. Your firm quote comes from a visit and is itemised line by line — and once signed, it does not move.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work in English?
Yes. Your project manager can run the whole job in English: the first visit, the itemised quote, weekly updates and the final walkthrough. The paperwork with the town hall is in Catalan or Spanish — we handle all of it for you.
How does pricing work in Spain? Will the price change mid-job?
Not with us. We sign an itemised, fixed-price quote before work starts: what the paper says is what you pay. If something genuinely unforeseeable appears when we open a wall, we stop, show it to you on site, and you decide with that item priced in front of you.
Who deals with permits and licences?
We do. Most interior renovations need a prior works notification to the town hall (Vilanova, Sant Pere de Ribes or Cubelles, depending on where your property is); structural work needs a licence. We prepare and file everything, including waste management. You never queue at a counter.
How long does a full renovation take?
A 70–90 m² apartment usually takes 9 to 13 weeks on site, from demolition to the final walkthrough. You get a phased calendar before signing, and if anything moves the date, you hear it from us the same day.
What guarantee do I get?
A two-year written guarantee covering the whole job, stated in the contract together with materials, deadlines and stage payments. And our office is on Carrer del Correu in Vilanova — claiming a guarantee here means walking through a door, not chasing a phone number.
