Kitchen renovations in Vilanova i la Geltrú

The kitchen is where a home is won or lost. We do the whole of it — building work, systems, cabinetry, appliances — with a design agreed first, a fixed price and a fitting date that holds.

The wall that changes the most homes here

Half the kitchens we renovate start the same way: a closed three-metre kitchen where two people cannot pass, back-to-back with a living room that never sees it.

That is how half this coast was built. Apartments from the sixties and seventies came with the kitchen as a service room — small, shut and at the back. The project we do most often is the exact opposite: take that wall down and gain a real living-kitchen, with an island or a breakfast bar that becomes the most used square metre of the house.

In old-town buildings the brief changes — high ceilings, the occasional wall that does carry load, and the challenge of fitting a contemporary kitchen into architecture with character. And in the houses of Ribes Roges or Aragai, the kitchen usually wants to open to the garden or terrace: there the project lives in the glazing and the light as much as in the cabinets.

Whatever your case, the method is the same: we measure, design the kitchen with you, fix brand and model of every element, and sign price and date. Then one crew executes it, from demolition to the last handle.

Send us your kitchen's measurements — or don't: we'll come and take them. Then you get a design with numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Can my kitchen be opened to the living room?

In most local apartments, yes — the dividing wall is rarely load-bearing. We confirm it on the first visit, and if it does turn out to be structural, there are portal-frame solutions that still allow it. What changes is the budget, and you will know before signing, not after.

How long will I be without a kitchen?

The build takes 3 to 5 weeks. Cabinet fabrication (4–6 weeks) runs in parallel while we prepare the site, so from demolition to first coffee you are looking at around two months. We leave you a provisional water point and sockets during the works.

Which brands do you work with?

We fit Schmidt kitchens and work with Miele and Pando appliances, plus our own made-to-measure carpentry when the project calls for it. Every item is specified in the quote by brand and model — the word "similar" does not appear in our paperwork.

What does a kitchen renovation cost here?

Between €8,500 and €17,000 before VAT for a complete 9–10 m² kitchen, depending on finishes. The spread is wide because cabinetry, worktop and appliances are more than half the total. Your firm quote is itemised after a visit.
